ERP Software

Built a custom Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP — software to help manage a business) on ERPNext. Created an operations portal to improve workflows and record keeping, positioning the company to adopt modern tools at a pace that worked for them.

Associated Rubber & Mechanical

ARM is an industrial rubber lining and fabrication shop serving large industrial clients — mining, pipeline, refinery, and related heavy work. I built a customized ERP solution around how they actually run jobs: multi-step shop pipelines, project tracking, and clearer handoffs between sales and the floor. The system gave managers and staff a shared place to see work, communicate, and manage the business.

About the Project

This is the operations side of the same client relationship as the marketing site rebuilds. The company was facing operational challenges and I came in to see what technical solution could improve the business. I studied their existing processes, spreadsheets, and day-to-day workflows with managers and stakeholders. After understanding the processes and doing research, I built a custom ERPNext setup that fit how the company was willing to adapt. Bigger upgrades were in the pipeline — barcode scanning, live plant tracking, management schedules — but put on hold so the business could adapt at its own rate.

Because the ERP handles internal business practices and operational data, I can't provide a live demo of the operations system. The marketing site rebuild for associated-rubber.com was finished but never launched. Demos of the before and after site are hosted here on my portfolio so you can compare them side by side.
